One of our favorite days of the year, after christmas, is Thanksgiving. Last week we featured a protein pumpkin smoothie to set the environment for this exciting holiday. Today we are going to tell you how to make your own gluten free gravy sauce for thanksgiving diner. Ready?
The recipe is pretty much the same as regular gravy, but instead of using regular flour we are going to replace it with our Potato Starch flour.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of chicken or turkey broth
- 2 fl oz white wine
- 2 Tbs of potato starch mixed with 1/4 cup cold water (mix it fast for a better texture!)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- A bit of thyme
- white pepper
- Regular salt or sea salt
Heat all ingredients to a boil- except the potato starch. Then add the potato starch mixed with water and boil for one minute stirring constantly.
Voila, gluten free gravy for your turkey.
